It will be my last post for now, because I can't jump out to my six, seventh, eighth, or ninth semester. This post is also not yet finished, it will be to be continued. I will tell some important story I have experience until now.
Unlike fourth semester, this semester I do not have much practical projects. But, we have to arrange our own tour package. It was a crazy idea, actually. Let me repeat it, arrange your own tour package. Beside that, we had to make a commentary book (a kind of lonely planet's book) and CAT Book (a price list book for agents). Those 3 projects almost killing me now. Plus I got this project, making blog. Even though I liked the idea of the projects, but actually I could not done it the way I expected, and it was extremely hard. I was barely sleep properly this semester. :(
I just got back from Bandung last Sunday to execute our tour package. Blume Tours (my group name, we changed the name since we add new members and the name iVoyages are irrelevant any more with this project) arrange a out-bond tour to Bandung-Lembang (a region in Bandung). We named it FUNDRENALINE, combination of Fun and Adrenaline. It is a 2 days and 1 night package. We went there by the brand new STPPH bus! On the first day we went around the Bandung's downtown. On the second day, we have out-bond activities at Bandung TreeTop, Lembang. We also provide BBQ for dinner. By selling this tour package at IDR 550,000, there are 44 pax joining our tour. Which means we have reached the minimum pax and we got some profit. We make our own money from selling this tour. It was fun, but extremely hard to find the customers. Hardships are over now, the tour was successfully executed. My groups did a pretty good job and we got good testimonials from the participants.

The next project I have hard time dealing with is making the books. Thankfully, I have finished designing and editing one out of two books. I will tell you A brief story about this book called "A Book of Authentic Indonesia". This book were made by Blume Tours, designed and edited by me. The theme of this book is about the culture and traditions in Indonesia that are very authentic. There are Mentawai Tribe, Asmat Tribe, Teeth Filing Ceremony, Torajans most famous funeral ceremony, and so on. Got a little sleeps while making this book, but when I got the book printed, I was extremely happy. Never imagined that this major required a little designing skills. Thankfully, I could easily follow instructions on the internet that helped me finished the books. Here is the printed book!
