| Pretty much what I learned this semester-issuing ticket and so on |
Still, it is my first year, but I am 3rd semester student. How come? Well, my university has a new program for us, which are called tri-semester program. We could graduate only in 3 years. So, yeah it's quite fast, but the process was killing us. They rush out things, but I was grateful that I have something to learn this semester.
This semester I learned how to issuing a ticket by using a program called Galileo. It is a CRS as known as Computerize Reservation System. It was an amusing program I've ever used. The blue screen and stiff font with no pictures on it, was just a simple program. But, the use of this program are amazing! They have the modern version though, but my school just only have the old version one. But, I feel it was good to learn from the old version one, since it was harder. These days, many things are simplify, and the youngster become more blunt, since it was already simplify. From this class, we could get a certification directly from Galileo CRS, which can be used to apply for work as a ticketing staff, for example. I was quite happy with the achievement I got.
Nothing much special in this semester, most of my classes are theory class and we do not have any field study because we were in acceleration program. Most of my classes this semester thought the systematic part of the travel industry. And it was not so fun classes. BUT! I had an extraordinary event this semester.
I took the chance to join Student Executive Board or known as BEM of UPH. I went for several process and it was very tense. I was never thought that I could be accepted in the organization, but I have tried my best. By His gracious love, I got into BEM-UPH!! I was SO HAPPY!! They are now my new family, which called Proactive Family. I do love them very much. Oh! By the way, I am now a member of External Relations of BEM-UPH with 2 other members and 1 head of department. My small family are fantastic! This is the start of being a productive university student, well, it is the start of being busy with the projects we had.
The second extraordinary event was performed as an owl for introduction to esthetics and art class. We had to perform something about faithfulness. My group consists of 6 girls, and we had to dressup as animals. There are owl, elephants, monkey, leopard, and couple of Tarzan. The performance we create is the animals helped their friend the man tarzan to propose to his beloved. We dance to Marry You by Bruno Mars. It was one of the most memorable yet embarrassing moment this semester! We had to though-it was our final exam score. Not only wearing the costumes that made us look funny, but we painted our face like the animals. Here's the proof of my most embarrassing moment:
